About Cutera Pico Genesis FX
Cutera Enlighten Pico Genesis FX (Fractional) represents an advanced laser procedure designed to impart a youthful and healthier appearance to your skin. Utilizing a Micro Lens Array (MLA), this treatment directs small laser energy beams deep into the skin, generating minor injuries in the lower layers. These micro-injuries stimulate collagen production, the essential protein responsible for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. Additionally, Pico Genesis FX aids in breaking down undesirable pigmentation, such as dark spots or discoloration.
Ideal for addressing a spectrum of skin concerns such as aging, texture, scarring, sagging, sun damage, and overall skin quality, Pico Genesis FX stands out as a rejuvenating non-ablative fractional laser treatment. The term “non-ablative” distinguishes it from treatments that remove or harm the top skin layer, as Pico Genesis FX induces controlled wound healing responses in deeper skin layers, promoting rejuvenation.
The designation “fractional” is attributed to the delivery of laser beams in a pattern of tiny dots rather than a continuous beam. This method enhances the depth of laser penetration while minimizing the risks of side effects and reducing downtime.
